Your Day

 

When you arrive, we will go through exactly what you want to achieve from your shoot, then you’ll go to the studio – and the fun begins! We’ll shoot a range of pictures, in various poses, moods and styles.

 

 

After your session, we’ll take a few minutes to talk you through the styles, edited photos we can produce for you, and show you some examples. We will then arrange for you to come back within a week and pick up you images on your disc.

 

 

Alternatively, if you give us advance notice, we can arrange for you to receive your photos earlier, for a small additional fee.We do not edit your photos until full payment has been received, please check our price list so you know roughly how much you will need to bring with you.You can also have your photos uploaded to our facebook page if you would like.

 

 

Any Canvas, Photo gifts will usually be ready within 6 to 8 weeks of ordering – we’ll let you know when you can come in and collect them.

 

 

How to choose your look

 

To get that drop-dead gorgeous shot, a little preparation goes a long way. Start by leafing through a few glossy magazines or going on line and getting a collection of images that you love. This will show exactly what direction you want your shoot to go.

Think about the styles you like, the colours you want to use, the mood you want to evoke. We can help you interpret your tear sheets in a way that works for your look, your figure, your personality.

 

What should I wear?

 

With an image in mind, sort out the clothes and accessories that will help us create it.

There will be time for several clothing changes, and each outfit can represent a different mood or style. Don’t forget to include shoes, belts, handbags or jewellery that will help to complete your look.

Smart casual suits fun, relaxed images; formal outfits are better suited to more stylized photographs.

Make sure that everyone is similarly dressed too, and stick to a colour theme.

A white background is the current fashion – and in front of this, very light or very dark colours create stunning images.

Simple styles remain timeless and denim never goes out of fashion – but avoid busy patterns. They tend to stand out more than the person wearing them and have a tendency to clash not only with the clothes of other people in your portrait

 

The Fashion Makeover Experience

 

There will be plenty of time to talk us through your tear sheets on the day and we can give you a few ideas too. Our stylist will do your hair and make-up to complement your chosen styles.We will take as many pictures in as many styles as we can to give you a fantastic choice of finished images.

 

Your complete shoot from arrival to finish may take up to 2 hours or more.

 

And most important of all…Your photo shoot is all about you – it’s a chance to have some fun. Our friendly team are great at putting people at ease – and the more you relax, the more natural the finished portrait will be

 

 

What’s your style?

If you can do it – we’ll photograph it! Anything goes – standing, sitting, running, jumping, playing, posing, relaxing, hugging, kissing, laughing, smiling – real emotions and genuine laughter make beautiful photographs that burst with vitality. These are the photographs that will show you all as you really are, without the awkward poses or forced smiles.
